This new photo project sets out to assemble images threaded with two impulses: one is the romantic tradition of picturing the world, and the other, an examination of forces affecting that world. I have been documenting the bridge control building for Keating Channel in the East Portland of Toronto. In tandem, this project includes images of animal and human inhabitants in close and mediated proximity (i.e. urban peregrine nest sites).
